Looking to see what other people think. I have an 87Tr and this winter I was thinking of having the rear deck lid changed. The picture you see is a cut and paste job I did to see what it would look like. I'm thinking of having a piece of glass curved and put into the center to show off the engine. What do you think?

I think it looks great! The other option is to replace your rear chicklett cover with a new carbon fiber piece that already has the glass installed. I prefer the red on the chicklett rather than the look of the carbon fiber. Since there is no cf anywhere else on the car I think it looks out of place. Keep us informed on your progress, I would like to see the end result.

I know it is on newer Ferrari's. Have you ever seen a Testarossa with a glass deck lid.

Looks nice........ Is there a heat issue you should be concerned about?

I am producing this part in carbon fiber, curently have 4 in stock. Also making heat shied in CF and will have front spoiler availabe later this month in CF. Heat is not an issue as I have been driving my 86 TR with this part for several months with no problems.

If you do not like the look of the CF then you can paint it to match the body color. Personnaly the gray/black of the CF is almost the exact color of the grillwork on the deck lid. This is just personal preference, all in all hard to beat the look of the window showing the 12 cylinder boxer.
