    Registered my Ferrari today at the DMV. Along with all the regular paperwork they asked me what the car would have sold for new in 1988. Didn't have a clue. Guessed $70K.
    Anyone know for sure?

    The original MSRP per window sticker from my '88 328 GTS including $600 destination charge was $78,250 plus $1,500 gas guzzler tax for a total of $79,750.00

    Mine was $83200.00 US I am in Canada and the car had to come from the US no dealership that time in Canada
