My 88.5 QV DD has developed a high idle after its winter hibernation, the only thing I have done is replace the plugs. Is there a vacuum diagram? just want to see if I have accidentally manage to pull a pipe off to start.

Hi Anthony, could be something simple like the throttle cable / mechanism as stuck a bit. Try to get some Wd40 down the cable exit in the engine area (towards the cabin area) and see if your pedal is free from mats and greased / oiled well.

Be careful with WD40 on throttle cables, it is hygroscopic and will attract moisture which will result in corrosion.

Your carb screws may have backed out a bit through winter temps changing the idle. It’s happened to us.
