    I believe I have found my slow coolant leak on my 89 328. I took off the cover in my spare tire compartment and saw a little puddle under the passenger side heater valve dripping on my ac line. Any suggestions on where to find one? Cross reference to other parts? I have found one for $395 but would think it has to be used by another model somewhere. Here is a pic with the west spot circled.

    i had the same leak on mine years ago, all i did was cut 10mm off the original hose and re tightened the jubilee clamp, no leak done and dusted, its just a leak no need to buy any parts unless I'm miss reading your post.
    what have you found for $395??

    The leak is coming from the heater valve housing and not the hose. I am going to remove it and attempt to see if I can rebuild it somehow. Anyone know where to get a new heater valve that is not $395?

    I think it is two parts, the heater valve and a motor that actuates it.

    Red Bay Spares might have just the valve part, your motor is probably ok.
