'89 Mondial t cabriolet on e-Bay

I always wondered about those who use such tiny photos. But from what I CAN see, the paint needs attention, rear bumper is misaligned and there's possible frame damage(?) in the engine bay (see pic below). The ad claims "No apparent evidence of body work", the frame isn't mentioned.

If all repairs and service are completed as needed then $34k sounds like a good price.

As usual, you'll need eyes on the car and a well qualified PPI. Just from the pics I agree about the paint and the rear bumper, but also note the seemingly large gap between the front headlights/fascia and the front bonnet louvers. Maybe it is just the angle or something, but there isn't supposed to be that sort of gap there. Also, there never was a "leather" tool roll (it's vinyl) and there's a $500 difference between just getting the jack "roll" and both the jack bag and complete set of tools - if you can find them. Also, the Mondial T guys can chime in on this, but as a 3.2 owner I believe the only boot cover options were black canvas or tan leather. This one looks like an aftermarket black leather or vinyl. Also, the shifter seems to sit too low in the console. I know the T's had the straight shaft as opposed to the 3.2's bent shaft, but I believe it was still longer than this one. Just looks odd - maybe its just me.

Overall impression - bad pictures and a description that raises the hair on your neck about what might not have been said. Go see the car if you can. Good luck - it might be a good car with a little cosmetic work. On the other hand, it could be a little scary. Can't tell from what has been presented.
