Seems to me that the late model 8s hold their value much better than the 12s, why is that?
12s are now the GT cars. 8s are the two-seater sports cars. Historically, two-seat, sporting Ferraris are the most desired by the secondary market (collectors, buyers of weekend fun cars, etc.) Touring cars have always lagged. I would say cars like the Daytona, 250 GT SWB and other 12s have actually done pretty well on the value front.
