I’m replacing my O2 sensors today. Have the Bosch replacements. I saw somewhere recently on FChat that grounding the sensor is a good idea. I can’t seem to find a thread on doing this- hoping a fellow F Chatter can help me out. Thanks so much!!! Vince Vince FerrariChat.com mobile app
I changed the O2’s w/o adding an extra grounding wire . Maybe I dreamed seeing something about doing that since one of the 4 wires looks to be a ground. Anyway, for first time swapping them out I’d say it was very simple. I went ahead and cleaned the MAF’s and cleaned the K&N filter while at it. Idles and runs like a champ again. Image Unavailable, Please Login I thought I would post the O2’s. The one on the right is from the right side. I’m not sure how long ago they were changed. I’ve had it about 18 months now and have put about 1,600 miles on it since the major 5 months ago. Vince FerrariChat.com mobile app
Grounding an O2 sensor on a 348 does not seem to be required. As for the black right side, I would chase down why the bank is so … rich.
I don't think there is a thread on grounding the O2 sensor, there was just discussion about it within threads
