That's really amazing. That last photo is priceless. I do have what I think are legitimate
concerns of him flying over populate areas - just sayin'. Seems like he might should consider
hanging it up just for safety.

    But cool story nonetheless.

I agree, Jedi. i knew a gentleman in the Portland area who flew up to his 90th. He had umpteen thousand hours and while making an IFR approach the airplane dove into the Columbia River. I am only 86 & 3/4's and I have had too many serious events like a TIA, aortic aneurysm, and a hemorrhage and my doc says no more flying. But he doesn't know what he's talking about and I go flying all the time with friends and my son. I just don't do PIC solo...whatever that is. I don't do loops but barrel rolls, snap rolls, and spins are good. I am trying to get Lou747 to get me a job and I think I can make it because I found my Go-Fast Hat that I used to wear when I rode my old Harley. Black with the white bill and straps. Really cool!

Since the Tiger Moth has dual controls, he should be able to continue flying as long as he has a licensed pilot, rated on the airplane, in the other seat, don't you think?
