Thanks for that video, Edmond. I bet that will be a great exhibition.

Here are 2 that I like:

Like the g-meter (keys) standing straight out to the side on sharp corners in the first vid.
    That's the 4.

The second vid is a 6... different, smoother 911 sound.

    Never have heard the 8.

The 904 is just an awesome piece of performing sculpture and automotive history. It's absolutely beautiful and the sound is epic - particularly the 4 cylinder.

IMHO it's every bit the last road racer in exactly the same way the 250 SWB is - and I agree with the earlier comment; the 904 and 250 SWB are also my favourite 2 cars - there are no other 2 cars with the beauty and pedigree of these 2, particularly ones that can be driven on the road and again IMHO from the 2 most distinguished manufacturers of sports racing cars of all time.

I genuinely couldn't choose between the 2 - although the pricing might help - it depends if I was paying or not ;)

I saw the green one 904 - 045 in RM's storage facility. It's a lovely restoration the best 904 I've seen, there are a few parts that are impossible to get now (white plastic screws to hold headlamp covers down (replaced with steal), door seals, oil lines) the car has been re-trimmed but in the same material and the battery has been moved out of the passenger footwell (many cars have had this done). The Monza fuel filler cap, which I haven't seen on a 904 before, from the way it was fixed looked like it is probably done by the factory or AFN - Way to fresh from restoration though! Needs driving!

This is the classic line at every Porsche meet I have ever been to, most Porsche guys have no idea how diverse the factory offering was for any of the cars.
