91 348ts electronics (sigh)

    Well I got rid of the stickies on the console, oven off worked like a charm. Now it's time to consider the various switches and buttons before I reassemble. I have a 4 button cluster that includes the gas cap, interior light, door lock and door unlock. I made the mistake of using the door lock button once last fall, the door locks went crazy! They locked and unlocked themselves until I turned the power off, click... clack... click... etc
    Thought this would be a good time to open the cluster up and clean the buttons - wrong! Does this cluster open up and if so does anyone know how to do so?

    Brian, ive noticed if my doors are not shut all the way the locks will pop up and down

    All 348's are like that. Door lock motors go crazy when 1 door is not closed properly. :):)

    Craig,
    Thanks for the info on the door locks, I'll make sure doors are closed when I try the lock button in the future. Have you ever tried to open up the cluster on butons that includes the door lock & unlock? I'm half scarred to death to work on anything for fear I'l break something and not be able to find a replacement.
