    I just had the major 30k major on my done and needed to have the dead a/c repaired. When pushing the dash buttons you can hear a sound sitching between a/c and defrost, but nothing seems to work. No blower, no heat , nothing. Service co thought it might just need freon and switched sytem over to R134. Still nothing... All relays checked. Tore apart center console and dash looking for the hidden relay with no luck. Any thoughts or similar experiences ?

    Mine wouls work intermittently, it turned out to be a cracked circuit board in the floor well of the passenger side, mine is rh drive auto electrician re soldered and it was ok, yours may be something similar.

    I had a 1989 t and the air worked when it wanted to to. I did everything except replace the unit. Turned out there was build up in the system of some type of gunk and after this was repaired and flushed it worked perfectly again. PM me if interested I can put you in touch with the shop I used who solved the issue. I spent about 5 grand over a four year period to fix the system. Spoke to the new owner of my car and he stated it has been working perfectly since his ownership no issues.
