911 Turbo evolution

I have an early 77 930, they are the lightest at around 2580lbs and have the short stroke 3.0 that revs fast, a light tossable fast fun car.

 

The original at the bottom for me.

 

993 for me please

 

Third one down!!!!

94 3.6T is still the benchmark for me.

 

I love that. It is really cool how the styling has changed

 

930 for sure. Then the 993

 

993 then the 996. Pre-993s looks ugly to me.

My favorite Porsche is the 959 though.

They look about the same as 360 and a 430, or a 308 and 328...

I've always said the 993 100%...but now 964...took some % away!

 

930 Turbo (Slantnose if possible), then the 965 3.6.
I never like the air-cooled 996-997. Not a true 911

 

993s are a slug compared to a turbo, especially a modded one, I have never been beat in my 930 its way too fast, the early turbo has the small tail which makes the rear flares look even wider, they have quite a road presence and scream bad azz compared to any narrow body 911 including the 993 turbo.

 

2nd from the top. the 996 will always be my favourite 911.

 

The second iteration on the 930 for me. Addition of Intercooler and that turbo tail makes it my fav.
