I had tears in my eyes and a smile as big as yours when viewing the pic. You have done proud, for both of you, for me and mostly for "Red" You could not have said it better......................and............. May the naysayers choke on it.....for truly, "Red" is a jewel amongst gems. What ever I had to say......"Red" spoke for herself and within her pride you now sit. Thank You, Tom
The fact is, The sale was exactly as I intended, to a new owner fitting the desire I had for "Red". I cannot be more pleased at the results. Whatever feelings towards me is comical to say the least and so far from reality as to be even more so. How and to who I sold "Red" to was entirely my intention. I stated, I did not want, nor need, nor desire to sell "Red" but did so in respect to her. If no sale was forthcoming, then we would continue as was. I am happy for her and her new owners, sad for me yet knowing I did what was best for her. I know the new owners will reap the joys and pride as I did and "Red" will draw the allocades and stares from attentions of her new owners. I cannot be prouder or happier for them. Tom
Congrats Tom and Manda...I'm glad through all the trials and tribulations this has come to a happy ending for all. Kudos
Drove her around and let her sing--- no leaks in the morning. To the Greek chorus-- rest at ease she's not concours del elegance -- there's a little paint chip and crack on right lower rear valance, see it? Image Unavailable, Please Login
On Manda's profile, the photo album "Red", the text in the album reads: "Most famous Fchat 348ts of all time." LOL! P.S. At least Tom is happy with the sale being "as he intended", new buyer is happy, & WE got lots of entertainment! Everybody wins!!
I need advice-- is there a factory cover for top when stored behind seats? I need all legroom I can get and I probably press against top.
come on Manda. Give us some real pictures. You are killing guys like me that have followed this from the beginning. Show us all what we missed and if you like share the story behind the legend.
Yes there is a factory cover, and I have one I can sell you... however I should tell you upfront that it was damaged at one point, but it was professionally repaired, and you could never tell by looking at it that was ever torn. If you're interested, please call and I will give you details.
Yes. Looks like an educated buyer took a chance on an "interesting" car and may come out a winner. Fingers crossed, the frame is straight and you'll have years of enjoyment. Take a lesson from this thread, when you go to sell it, make sure you're up front about the title, and what got this car a "salvage" designation. D
upload them one at a time. Chose one then upload, chose the second then upload etc etc. until you have four then submit reply. Every time I try to upload all four at once it fails. Like I explain above it works.
If you're on an iPad/iPhone, etc, you have to post a new post for each pic, unfortunately. At least you'll get your post count up!
Fancy yourself a wordsmith, eh? You've demonstrated everything I've asserted. No amount of your silly prose will change that. Good bye to you and good luck to the new owner.
I will spare you the suffering of having to live with that blemish... How about $1,598.98 for the car and you pay the shipping to Puerto Rico also? Seriously, enjoy the car my friend.
You Sir are the owner of an automobile worth of praise. I am so very proud that you are such worthy an owner. I cannot tell you of such praise you are deserving of. My tears are yet to stop, for "Red" is deserving of all the feelings to come her way. The selling of her is tempered only in the knowing of the new owners and the pride you have in her. I think only you and I will ever know just what beauty has allowed us to be a part of. We are just in our belief of her and those who cast doubt are foolish indeed. Tom
That was the goal, to find just the right buyer for "Red" That is exactly the results in all of this. Allowing my "friction" and letting the right buyer to decide for the car rather than the seller's questionable character, showed after all, what was right in the search for just the perfect choice in an automobile. The time spent in the company was always as respectful as it was enjoyable and I am certain that "Red" shall always be treated in the best possible manner. Her new owners are certainly deserving and be held in the utmost of respect. I am so very pleased, for them, for "Red" and for the Ferrari brotherhood of enthusiasts, and the snobs be damned who think a piece of paper more important than the love and spirit of what Enzo intended. Your still an assumptive sour grape responder, of little interest and contributor of nothing constructive, but thanks anyway
Just knowing that such some times idiotic prose be allowed for sake of letting display the silliness of posters be examp[les of lower elevated mental proceedings in such response's But to that point, have a pleasant day, for whatever point your trying to make, only failure seems the result.
I agree , say what you mean , mean what you say but , don't say it mean. That being said congrats to all parties.
