Hello, I am a new diablo owner. My battery was a bit low the other day, so i decided to charge it up/battery tender. Much to my surprise its in the worst location on planet earth. Right between the the firewall and Iraq apparently.

Does anybody know how to hook the battyer up to a tender without removing the full wheel and panel? I was speaking to a friend over the phone, but my mechanics is slim to non. Thought someone may have some pics of the exact spots under the hood the tender could attach, or maybe a simple way without removing the wheel.

ALSO---- How does one go about eraseing check engine codes. I went to a familiar website and it seems quite hard. But, maybe it was just a little something that scared me...

Also---- I cant seem to get the air conditioner to shut off. How do I turn the air off completely?

Bare with me for a few months everybody. These questions may seem quite elementary.....

    Dear Lamborghinisti,

Go to LP, then into the Diablo section. I did a full write up with pictures on how to properly install a battery tender.

I have done a few technical threads over there....you may find them useful. :)

My Diablo is a 97 roadster different then yours, See attached pic, prob this what yours looks like. I use a Deltran battery tender and works great.
Connect the positive clamp where the red arrow is pointing and negative to studs coming off your throttle body.
As for clearing CEL codes, disconnect battery for 30min, but once you connect it back computers need to relearn, you need to let the car idle (make sure lights, radio and any other accessories are off) do not drive, do not touch the throttle, let it just idle until it goes through a heat cycle, meaning cooling fans kick in and stop.
You can not totally turn off the climate control on a Diablo, only way I know is to bring up the temp to 75 or above so the a/c wont kick in.
