A blonde haired lady bought it, that's about all I know, it just sold within the past 30 minutes. Looked great. Had tools and manual, not sure on recent service or mileage. Red/Tan

She was clearly intent on getting it too. Almost upped her own bid at one point, ringman helped her out. Had her Ferrari shirt on and was determined to leave with that car!

I didn't get the description either, so no idea on service. Memory has faded since last night, but I want to say mileage in the 20's.

The real question is how long ago was a full major? It states that it comes complete with major service history, but says nothing of when the last major was performed. If that's due within the next year add another 10K minimum to the price.

I was on the stage when this car sold. Good paint but, looked like a fresh repaint. 19K + miles & had just received a full service. All paperwork was in a 3 ring binder. Tools were not in the car but were said to be availible. Very good interior & detailed engine. Stock 512TR wheels were chrome plated & looked very good. The only missing part I could see was the front black splitter? and it's 9 attaching screws/washers,(#63024600) and I believe this runs between $700/$800. They were very happy after the purchase and, all things considered, --- got a decent buy.

hmmmm, I'm always leary of "full" service inlieu of "30k major" service performed. For all we know full service could have been a 15k service. She might need another $5k.

Very correct. Watch for anything that refers to a service other than Major. If the belts weren't done, it's a lot more money and the engine needs to come out no matter what. As I said, add another 10K.

Tools are either "there" or "not there".....they were screwed! LOL!

Auctioning a car missing parts, that sounds like B/J for ya!

Leave it to BJ to misspell 'Connolly' leather in their 'catalog'. Surprised they didn't list it as having
    'Corinthian leather', by Ricardo Montalban...

Never made any sense why someone would do just the service vs doing the full majors. Looks like a nice car. Makes me miss mine.

    Dear Ferraristi,

So...they can say "service done" and the unsuspecting buyer thinks that the "major" is complete...perhaps not knowing about the 15k no belts and the 30k belts....thinking the "big money" job was done.

Whow...."makes me miss mine" ...when did you sell your TR Adam? Did you get your Diablo back on the road?

Barrett-Jackson does not edit the descriptions provided by the sellers. You'll find all kinds of misspelled words and erroneous claims. Just points to the need to do your due diligence before bidding.

At BJ, removable items are typically stored in a secure area and reunited with the car after the sale.

Yes, they have a property room for any loose items. All cars are open for inspections before the auction.....
the car was very nice in the flesh.
