I am not sure that homoligation cars would draw more value than non or not...I would of thought condition (1>4)/documented history etc would pull the value up if that is what you are after in a 3lt turbo.Apples for apples would be buyers decision so market would decide.

Looks like my 1977 I bought in February FS 77' 930 Silver w/Lobster 50k miles - Pelican Parts Technical BBS
Phil, you gave me some good advice and the confidence to pull the trigger. Glad I did. It drives like a dream.
I think it was the email that said - buy that damn thing or I will. I'm glad you like car it looks terrific- nothing but upside.
So I am sure you guys will find plenty of incorrect parts on my 930. Feel free to pick them out if you must. I'm sure I will learn something? My question today is, should it have side indicators in the front quarter panels? The wiring would suggest not? It was built 10/75 but is a 76 model #91 ROW sold new in Sydney Australia. I have a collection of correct parts ready to go, valance, fog lights, headlight washers, seats and other minor details. The paint, though the correct color, is not factory and has blemishes, so I intend to repaint it soon. At that time I will revert the exterior back to the correct spec. If anybody has relevant information to share on either Australian delivered 3Lt 930s, or production figures of RHD 3Lt's I am all ears. Luke Image Unavailable, Please Login
I recently acquired a plastic sealed 1/20 scale Grip Porsche Turbo model kit. Was the box art of the light yellow 1975 Turbo with Porsche side script based on a production car? There are no light yellow 1975 Turbos listed on Ryans 3-liter Turbo registry. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The artist may have incorrectly used the longer Carrera RSR tail as a guide. I also have one of this kits with an open box and the plastic tail is more accurate than the art work. Since this kit was made in the 1970's, it doesn't have the incorrect front fender side markers that are present on most the scale models today.
What is the correct as-delivered battery for the TC? Anyone have a photo? Know where to obtain? Seems like there are plenty of repros for pre '74 cars, the dual battery cars etc, but I can't find anyone claiming to have an exact replica of a '76. These guys claim OEM, but that doesn't mean markings are authentic... Battery, Oem 88 Amp/hr, For 911®/930/928 Porsche®, 1974 -1989 | 999.611.088.20 Perused the Porsche Classic sites, no love. Another car could use the Optima living in #470 now, so I see this as an opportunity to switch to correct appearance...
1975 Turbo, black with tan interior. Fitted with optional air conditioning and sunroof. Sport seats appear to be the 1980-1984 versions. Description from Thiesen Automobile: This Porsche 930 Turbo is an early model from the Homologation series, it was built in 1974 and delivered to its first owner in 1975 a businessman from Germany. In the 80s the car was sold to Italy until it was reimported to its current German owner in 2014, who restored the car together with the last Italian owner. Since the restoration the car was driven only 400 Km, the original mileage is about 117.000 Km. There are only four owners. All manuals, service documents and a confirmation of the manufacturer are with the car. A collectors car in a like new condition. That would have to be top dollar. Can somebody school me on thr eras of sports seats before I fork out the cash for the wrong ones.
The change to the new style manual sport seats occurred in the middle of the 1980 model year. The 1975 sport seats have round release knobs. Image Unavailable, Please Login
