sold for around Euro 125 hammer plus about 18% fees to RM so maybe Euro 145/150 all in? I looked at the photos but didn't go and see it. Wasn't easy to get to Paris today from the UK as we had some bad weather and cancelled flights. Looked like it was not an original rear slam on the photos and I thought it might have been a replacement rear wing as well. But ,might have made a good driver. Price seems reasonable? Anyway, I am still looking for one...
Thanks for the info, I missed the lot on the live auction. Prices looked to me on the soft side in general for this Paris auction.

Hard to say from the photo. It does not have front valence fog lights (could have been deleted in 1975), has chrome trim (could have been optioned in 1975), non-factory seats, and aftermarket cooling vents in the bumper in place of the standard rubber pieces.

Great look from the front, bad Frankenlook from the back. But its obviously that car. Surprised to see air inlets in a seemingly old photo, the original one I posted looks very much like the location for Porsche Press images from the period?

I am really excited, it looks like Ryan has surpassed even our wildest expectations and put together a milestone publication! Well done Ryan!
I think the time has come for me to move on to an early 76-77 930 Turbo. I have a 99 Ferrari 550 Maranello that I bought last year when I was searching for an early Turbo. Unfortunately my searches(for the 930) lead me to a lot of cars that weren't worth their asking price. So I decided to try something different, the 550 had an excellent service history and it was the right color and condition. Mileage was also realistic. Since prices have come down on early Turbos, I'm thinking of selling my 550 and making the jump. I've owned several Porsche's and thought it was time to make a change because I find myself go back to Porsche sites plus I have a bunch of Porsche parts, service manuals and paraphernalia at the house. Since this is a Ferrari forum with a small focus on early Porsche's, do you guys think I would be making a mistake?
I’m obviously biased as a big Porsche fan but the short answer to your question is.....NO.....make the switch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have available for purchase a NOS Brumos plate frame if anyone is in the market. $250 shipped. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have come across a detail during my restoration of #148 from 1975 that I can not solve. Maybe somebody can clarify (Ryan?). What is the correct location for the front tow hook/ring in a 1975? Attached to the front suspension, like in G series, or welded at the center, like in the F series? Mine had it attached to the front suspension bottom, but I know of another 1975 that has it welded at the center of the front tub of the chassis. Any definitive answer on this? Thanks!
Early 1976 Turbo Carrera on Craiglist. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto/d/porsche-930-turbo-1976/6508194984.html The interior has been swapped (was originally black) and you can tell since it has several 1977 interior options including 1977-style seats, 1977-style center console, etc. The exterior was supposedly black originally. But low number 930 680 0018 with matching number engine. Looks like a Cork leatherette dash. It also originally had M409 Sport seats, which are missing.
My data points show attached to front suspension. What chassis had it welded to the center front tub of the chassis??
Hello, Ryan. The one I saw with the central welded ring is chassis about 120 and belongs to an italian expert. Is the Grand Prix White with red tartan interior car. He is adamant the front of his car was never modified .... Anyhow, I will go witg your suggestion. Thanks a lot! Attached, another picture of my wastegate. Image Unavailable, Please Login
