ah... thank you here is his, he picked up about 3 years ago. it was in route when i spoke to him. https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/videos/a25388/video-magnus-walkers-flogs-super-rare-rhd-porsche-930/ stock 930 are much better street cars than track cars. you got that exactly right.. modding a 930 is a slippery slope. dont ask how i know
You are spot on with that. Still considering the elephant street upgrade, should already be a vast improvement over a 41 year old suspension setup

wonderful color pic of the wooden turbo motor. dec 73? given the print time needed for publishing back then the show must have been right after frankfurt
Hi I am looking to purchase a set of fuchs rims. The seller indicates that that are original. However, they look widened to me. Did Porsche supply cars with rims as per the pic below? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Black one is 15" and the other 2 16". Probably going to play it safe and just go with the blue as that looks like all rims I have seen on a Turbo. Would be interesting to just get the forums view on the stepped design lip.
My friend is thinking of selling his very rare 1989 3.3 Turbo S Sonauto (only 10 units in the world), car has only two owners from new, 35,000 km, amazing original condition (95% original paint), complete service book with all history, all tools, a very rare piece of collection. Finally managed to sit down and read this. Vast improvement over the last time Panorama tackled our cars.

Groovy 1974 Earls Court Motor Show catalog that depicts the Porsche Cars Great Britain stand 123 that was adjacent to the Jensen Healey & Rolls-Royce Bentley exhibits. Interesting that they list the Porsche Turbo with, “Tartan Trimming and midnight leather seats.” Perhaps 9305700012, GLP 870N had 1974 fitment w/ midnight vs. black leather seats? As I recall when they drove that Turbo it made too much power and they were always backing off on the gas pedal in town. They made a big deal about the drive ability of that new Turbo car... Does that particular Porsche Turbo still exist today as car #12 ???
Posted for sale on Excellence Magazine. https://www.excellence-mag.com/classifieds/43683#.W8nFZ2wm42y This car was previously posted for sale on a government liquidation action. 930 Turbo Carrera http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/view?auctionId=10857669&convertTo=USD&utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=porsche# It’s listed as 1976 Turbo Carrera, 9306800076 (also per VIN decal) but the interior is a 1977 model year including the speedometer and tach. Additionally, per Ryan’s book this car was originally Copper Brown Metallic with black leather interior and is now ivory white with brown interior. When it was listed for sale at the government auction, it was also reported to have 19,054 miles. Would make a great BAT car where everyone will buy into the low mileage claim based on the odometer reading alone. No affiliation.
