Image Unavailable, Please Login Being in lockdown, this is as far as my 930 has got from the garage so far this spring. Thanks again for all the posts on this site to keep me sane until I can get back on the road! [IMG]

This should be the same silver 1976 Turbo, #9306700049, although from the highway star record band photos, it appears to have a 930/50 engine (airbox with clips and '75 exhaust tip).

The record also has photos of Japanese delivered ’75 Turbo, #9305700051…very interesting headlights in sugar scoop trim.

1970s Japan 930 Turbo stereo record. This should be 1977 Turbo, chassis #9307700025, apple green, black leather, air conditioning, and optioned with 15 inch Fuchs. The rally light addition and shark fin delete may have occurred after delivery.

As I am in lockdown still, and after installing new camshafts with engine out on my 77 3.0 Turbo Carrera here in Europe, performing all relevant maintenance, new rotors and pads and installing all new Bilstein B6 plus Polyurethane Black Series bushings all around I went to the last task in lockdown reworks: Installing the Rennline fire extinguisher mount with quick release. I never never want to stand next to my car as it burns to the ground. Was tough to find a 3 inch fire extinguisher in Euroland, but my hero from Autocloche in Lisbon found some close enough.

While in there and uninstalling the passenger seat I am pretty sure these seats have never been out of the car: See the sticker and stamp I found on the bottom, I though my fellow 3.0 nerds here would appreciate..

She's 43 years old since this month!
Cat is 20, and also still going strong :)

    Hi Fellow Forum Members
Please register your turbo on this site. Would be great to see pics of all the cars and get a feel for how many are around
It seems to be linked to Porsche so as a bonus, the site will supply you with all the build specs for your car.

We turbo back to the 70s for a quick recap

    1975 911 Turbo 3.0

Ah, the OG. Devoid of any of the modern-day gizmos found in the 911 Turbos of today, it was raw, simplistic, and undeniably beautiful. The five-dial dash behind the steering wheel has remained in every model since, albeit in slight variations of order, but has gone digital for the first time in the latest model.

That is Nick Faure in front of the red car. The man whose job it was to do the launch demo runs in the UK.

Japanese poster of 31-01. Additional indications that this is a RoW 1975 Turbo imported to Japan; far left engine threshold alternator decal, blue air filter, and clips on the air box.

Another great period photo of a 49-31 in Japan. The 1970s, 3-ltr Turbo Japanese license plates feature "33" that designates a passenger car with displacement larger than 2000cc.
