My God that 1977 on eBay is incredible. How much HP does this car have (roughly) or other DP's for that matter....

From what i understand the engine mods could be near stock to wild depending on the customer's specs. It looks like the 77 has the stock non -intercooled 3.0 single turbo w/ headers and the K-27 upgrade, but i don't see the knob of death in the interior so i imagine it is around 250-270hp. i have been trying to get more information on the 77, to understand the actual build and if it had info from DP.

Just curious - next to the dp emblem on the rear - is that an autograph? If so - who?

I am not sure whose it is. At first I thought it was Zimmerman's, but does not look like the right spelling. It is painted on. I will take a close up pic and post it here to see if anyone knows.

Sorry - one more question - are the stripes painted? Or stickers?
I've seen some cars without them....

The car on eBay - rod stewarts - are those the original rims? If so, what size are they? And what are the silver bolts one them?

Congrats! When I was about 10 years old 1987 or 88 there was a exotic showroom in Fla, I think lauderdale it was called Unique. My brother and I would go back twice a year with our father, they always had lambo's and so on but one car stuck out to us it was a 935 DP Turbo, red with a pink stripe and gold wheels car sat there for at least 3 yrs, my father at the time just bought a 928 S. we begged him to buy this car in the end he purschased an 87 Testarossa. We never new what DP was till we grew older. That was the first and only DP I have seen Good luck.

Those are not the original rims. They look like a 3 pc. wheel using Fuchs centers and BBS rim halves. Not sure about the width but I would guess 8" or 9" x 17" fronts and 11" x 17" rear. DP's came with either Fuchs or BBS 15" rims. Either 8" or 9" in front and 11" or 13" rears. Tires were 285's or 335's on the rear.

I got my 935 dp last week, the transport guy had me meet him like a mile away in a big avenue, it was cold and with some snow on the ground. The car was warming up by the time I got there. The raspy Borla exhaust was amazing. I was nervous to drive an 80's turbo for the time in those conditions. I took it easy and drove straight to my garage.
    Thanks for the support!
