    Popped a cooling line on the Mondial this morning, should be no major damage, will tear it apart later to figure out which $2 part gave out. 99% sure the head is fine, shut it down in seconds.

    Hose likely, going to tear it down tomorrow. 308 was also running hotter than normal prior to taking out the Mondial. Today's conditions were probably just too hot for both of them. The Bentley was fine, even had to adjust the A/C to a warmer temperature during the run...

    The ambient temp doesn't matter - a bad hose/fitting/whatever is going to let go at some point. Check your pressure cap though - be sure it the right rating and working...

    115936 is what failed, 4" slit in the hose. Motor is fine, still had enough coolant in it to keep it cool enough. $30 part from Rultands, will go back together tomorrow.
