Thanks Mike - I hear you. A nice F-Chatter volunteered to check the car out for me - We will see what happens...

    Yep, stick to that number.
I am in market too for a F355 GTS.
A '95 car is almost 10 yrs old, I think 80+ is just too much for it.

Thanks - I want to feel good about any purchase - I don't think I would feel good after paying that much.

I saw a consignment car on your site awhile back, a red '98 GTS with low miles for only $82 or $83k. It was sold before I got to contact you.
I am just curious, compared to the rest of your inventory, that car seem to be priced lower, any reason? I mean, it is a '98, it is low mile, it is a GTS(which I assume a bit more than GTB)...

Jerry--- This is a local car. It belongs to a member of our FCOA who owns several Ferraris including a 85 288GTO. I know the owner and have seen the car several times at different Ferrari functions. It looks great.

If you are interested, I'd gladly help facilitate direct dialogs with the owner. He is a good person and I am certain easy to deal with.

Thanks Tom - People on here are so nice! Unfortunately, the colors I have narrowed it down to are Blue, Burgandy, or Red - In that order & the interior must be tan or crema.

Now the 288 sounds nice - Just let me sell the house! :)

Jerry--One more lead for you. Below is an ebay aution on a 355 with 75,000 miles. Yesterday, I offered Alex, the owner, $48,000 cash. He countered me firmed at $50,000 and promised to end the auction early but I passed.

You might recall, this car was listed about 3 wks ago (I started a thread here) and it was sold for $56,000 but the buyer's financing fell through, according to the owner.

This is FWIW. Perhaps, the milage is a bit excessive for you. I don't believe the reserve is met today so if interested, you might want to call and tell him you had talked with me. Good luck, Jerry.

Gee, I have the same accountant.....

I think we are going to try and leave O.C. around 8 on Sunday if anyone wants to come along. Drive thru the canyons like we did for the Enzo run.
Take a break at the Bean and head to Beverly hills.

Just another happy day in paradise.....

Hmmm, three posts in a row, when this could easily have been accomplished in one. Sounds like somebody's at work. ;)

yeah Rick, accountant is family friend and does not want to accomodate us in any way. My dad is too gun shy to get another one, since this is a family friend.

I will be in Los ANgeles sunday, maybe I can finally get to meet you guys

If you take into consideration that some cars are consignments, where the seller sets the price and they may not be as realistic as others, well then that is just what it is.
The reason why that GTS went so quick was, it was priced right and was a great car. BTW a F-Chatter bought it.
I have a 98 355 Spider for sale that is priced great as well. red/black with 19K Miles and one owner car, full service, full docs, tools, books etc. 30K service done, new clutch. I need a buyer on thatc ar for $ 86,000!!!!

Why buy a GTB for $ 82,000 if you can have a Spider with less miles for $ 4K more and with the big service done???

You are correct. I build high-end for about 150-175. 125 will still get you a 3 car garage, granite tops, birch cabinets, landscaping, nice carpet, etc.

I'll be selling my 355 if I ever get the headers fixed.
