95 F355 acting up but no codes again?

    He noticed something a little odd.. the Driver side ECM at pin 39 was connected but the passenger side pin 39 was disconnected and covered with tape. Looks like a DIY Hack, anyone know what pin 39 does on the ECM?

    I wonder why a main ecu ground would be taped off?!??

    Is it really the main ECU ground? According to the wiring schematics, that ground is applicable to USA cars only. What happens to Euro cars which don't have that? Does grounding that pin activate something inside the ECU?

    Rob, do both ECUs have the same part number?

    All the ones I have seen did.

    And you can swap bank to bank.

    A couple more updates.. ecu #s were the same and upon inspection he found that the actual fuse socket wasn't working for the one that controlled the o2 sensor. Got that fixed and it's not rich anymore! He is chasing a pesky issue now where it is missing occasionally at idle and under low revs. Looks to be just one cylinders Clears up over 3k rpm though?
