Hi everyone, I know this topic has been discuss quite a number of times but I would like all your latest opinon on this. Its time for me to purchase a new set of tyres for my F355. I'm considering: 1. Bridgestone SO-3 2. Michelin PS2 3. Pirelli PZERO As for tyre size, the front will probably stay standard but was thinking to go 275/40 or 295/35 for the rear or should I stay stock? The car is used manily on roads and about 6 track days a year. It will be great is some of you are able to post pictures of your 355 with either of these tyres on. Some tyres sidewall makes the car look alot different IMO. So to see some pictures will be fantastic. All your opinion's and advise are much appreciated. Thank you!
Hmm, I'll have to dig up pictures. I can tell you that I have PS2's mounted on two different sets of stock wheels, a road set with 265's in back and a track set that I bought used with 295's in back (ultimately, the track wheels will have R-compounds). The stock 265 in the rear seems narrow in the Michelins. The 295's look and fit perfectly. I will definitely be continuing with the Michelins, and from now on I will always get the 295's. No spacers, no rubbing, not even close. I know there are differences with different companies, so this may not apply to Pirellis or Bridgestones. I'll try to get some pictures up.
here is a shot ... I don't know the size (I know that does not help you!)...but based on how good the bigger tire in this pic looks, I am going to look at going to something bigger on my car. If anybody has any thoughts on how it effects performance please share. ps I'm assuming these are 19???? Image Unavailable, Please Login
On stock rims/wheels for the 355's rear, who has used both 275/40 and 295/35? Does that have used both sizes before, which one do you prefer? why?
PS2s !!! I stayed with OEM Size. I figure that Ferrari R&D know what is the Best setup for their Car.
