I hate to start a new thread about Diablos, so i figured id kinda link it to this one..

Has anyone been on Ebay motors the last few days. Whats with all the Diablo's for sale? Cant recall the last time ive seen so many. Always a few countach, bunch of murcies and G's and a couple Diablos. I think there is just under 10 on there now.

Im very seriously considering the Dark Side for my next exotic. Where can I find a good pricing "barometer" for the different years/models of D's. I use NADA and try to keep on top of the market. But with all the different years/models (VT,GT,6.0, Roadster,etc..) tough to learn the market.

Thank you for posting about this car. Ive searched google and turned up nothing. Saw it in a DuPont Registry once along with a Diablo SVTT and never heard about the Super Diablo again.

Would anyone happen to know 0-60/0-100 times?

Man, its 7 inches wider than a normal Diablo,

    good thing they did that,

because every time i look at a diablo, i think to myself that it just doesnt look wide enough ;-P

Who ever built it did so much work that it now looks like a replica car.

The car was owned by Mike Tyson when it was a coupe then one of his entourage flipped the car over while trying to impress his girlfriend. At this point the former owner of lamborghini/lotus of Orange county purchased the car and built it into what you see here. I've been told that the motor had the best internals and had a Motec engine management system, but that the rest of the car is GARBAGE! People that I know that have seen the roadster conversion first hand tell me that its the worst they have ever seen...

I also saw that car at Lotus of Orange county when I bought my Diablo from them. This car among others was auctioned off when the dealership was shut down by the law.
I can't remember how much they wanted for it then. I wonder if when they put $450k into it if that included a briefcase with $200k in the trunk.
