    Gents. Does '99 355 CEL illuminate when 15k mi. service is due? Internet says yes and no. Didn't find Owner's Manual reference - is there? Many thanks.

    Yes, do believe everything you read on the internet.....
    It even lights up one of the two hidden LEDs when it is time to change the timing belts...

    Coincidence? Come on. It's a 355. Odds are the CEL will come on around 15k, .... and 16k, and 17k and 18k......... and it's always something major. A major PITA. :)

    Actually, he never said the CEL came on. Just asked if it comes on at 15k.

    Sorry I chimed in if this was a trick question. Hope it was not. CELs for OBD areas specific data from sensors and not Odometers. For OP, hope you uncover the reason for CEL- if you have one.

    Mine is like people it mellows with age. No check engine lights since last major almost 5 years.
