    Hi,
Anyone driven or is an owner of a 991 cabriolet. Was thinking of getting a XKRS for the wife and a good friend of myself told me to look out for a 991.

Any feedback ? This would be our first Porsche if we do buy one. I always love the 997 twin turbo and 997c4s.

Owner of a 991 6 speed for about 3 months -- 3500 miles later I absolutely love it. My favorite 911 yet, very good sports car feel AND comfortable tourer, more GT than before perhaps but still very fun.

I'd take a new 991 over a new Jag any day of the week. Without a doubt.

Sweet! Great car terrific photos. I too like the PDK. The "boom" on the upshifts and the rev matching and "burble" on downshifts. I can't stand it anymore, I'm going for a drive!

you might want to installing the tubi exhaust on your 991.
much nicer sound than the porsche sport exhaust, imho.
    and almost the same price.

Hey Joel.... Fortunately/unfortunately my car came equipped with the Porsche sport exhaust. I have always liked the Tubi exhaust for the Ferraris. On the plus side I took the car to the ski resort today a 90 mile round trip. On the straight and narrow i used the stock mode, but on the twisty mountain sections I hit the sport button. Kind of the best of both worlds. By the way the skiing was excellent. What a great car. I am sure you have the same smile as I do every time you drive it!

i would not consider swapping out the sport exhaust for the tubi.
with the bypass valves open, the tubi sounds a bit louder and richer than the sport, but that is just my opinion.
when the valves are closed, there is no apparent difference in the sound.
unfortunately, the tubi doesn't offer the dash mounted switch to manually open the bypass valves.
in this respect, the sport exhaust has an advantage.
i do love driving the car.
the 991 is actually my wife's car; sometimes we have to fight over who gets to use it!
