    Go to Rennlist if you haven't already and post a looking for 993 OBD 1. Some nice cars turn up there. I think you are on the wrong forum to get max. information/exposure.

    I have spent a lot of time on rennlist I purposely posted this question here to get a less unbiased opinion. When you post a question on values to people that own that specific car there is more of a chance to get an inflated value.

    You don't have to buy it if you don't like the price the seller is willing to sell for.

    Don't put much faith in Excellence as they are truly clueless when it comes to values on most Porsches. If you try to buy one for what they say its worth, you're likely to be laughed at by the seller.

    I would not buy any Porsche without service records and paperwork.

    I don't think that there is any difference in price in a coupe, cab, or a targa. Some people like an open top, and some wouldn't want one. In the south, a Carrera 4 is just a heavy Porsche.

    A #2 car with service records is a $30K car (a S or 4S adds $8K).
