Greetins, As spring approaches I'm looking more seriously at 99-02 996's. I've checked a couple out and have seen some uneven paint colors. It seems that the bumper covers, rear deck lids, trim that runs the length of the roof above the doors are different shades than most fo the body panels. It seems its the plastic or composite parts. Just wondering if this is a common issue or should I take it as signs of trouble?
    Thanks

it's fairly normal for cars that have spent a lot of time in the sun. my 99 996 is 4 or 5 shades of red if you look closely.

mine is a track beater so I don't care but if you want to show the car, yes it can be a problem.

Too many odd ball spots around these cars. Not like one complete side. Been looking dwn here in fla, so yes sun issues.
