Gents, I know this is a bit unconventional, but we just took this GT3RS in on trade. I have a dealer that offered $140,000.00 for the car and will finalize that deal on Monday afternoon if not sold. I figured I would offer it up to the F-Chat members in an auction style here on the board before letting it go Monday. Bidding starts at $140,100.00 If you bid on it, please PM me your contact info at the same time. I will cut it off at 12Noon Monday CST and at that time will need the winning bidder to place a $5,000.00 deposit on the vehicle via telephone and will have 48 hours to the close the sale. PPI's are welcome if you have any concerns. The car: 2010 Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS Carrara White with Black Full Leather 5630 miles MSRP picture is attached for options, but some of the high points are: Navigation, Full Leather, Sound Pkg Plus, Red Gauges, Painted Console White, Deviated Stitching in Red, Carbon Door Sills Also has a GMG Roll Bar painted in White, Schroth Harnesses, and a GMG Center Muffler Delete. 3M Clear bra covers the full hood, bumper, and fenders. The Red GT3RS flags have been removed and a 4.0 (like) center stripe and dive planes have been added just for cosmetics. THIS HAS NOT BEEN ON THE TRACK WHATSOVER. The car is literally like new. I found a total of 3 rock chips on it after going over the entire car. 2 of them are on the Passenger quarter panel, the other on the Driver side right behind the door. THAT IS A SWEET DEAL. Similar cars are selling for $20-30k more. Post it over on Rennlist as well...I know there are many looking for this exact car.
I know. I really wanted everyone to see it exactly as we got it. Besides, the dealer that gave us the bid wanted us to leave the belts in it. It has not been tracked for sure. He did one small autocross with it about a year ago, but that's it.
Feel free to send them the link. I asked permission from Rob before posting this and I don't have permission from the other boards to do so ( and didn't ask either ). The F-Chat crew has always been good to me personally and professionally. I think many users are on multiple boards regardless.
All items installed by RAC. I am happy to give the winning bidder the previous owners contact info and they can verify for themselves it hasn't.
thats all stuff that a non-track driver like me would install for 'spirited street driving'. I would absolutely want the OE exhaust if I were buying. Seriously, post in RL...guys looking. Not many will think to look on F-Chat for a P.
PS the car also has the 4.0 front bits on the bumper cover...not cheap. You are wholesaling to another dealer. What do you think he would list this for...$169-ish?
Not sure what they will list it for and really not sure what it will end up being bid to here. This is somewhat of an experiment for us. Never tried selling one like this. Our thought is, it won't go down for us but it might let someone else buy it for a bit less than retail would bring on the open market. We aren't going to keep it inventory either way.
I posted a thread with a link to this thread over on RL. I only want to have the one auction going though. Best of luck !
Post your bid here in the thread. High bidder gets it. In the event of no bids, it will go to the dealer on Monday at their wholesale offer.
Pulled the DME report for a gentleman that emailed me direct but wanted to share the info; 44 in Range 1, 7 in Range 2, Range 3-4-5-6 are all 0. OEM exhaust is available.
I am bit surprised that it didn't receive any bids, but I am going to close it out here in a few minutes. Hope someone takes advantage of it; hate for such a cool car to be wholesaled but that is the nature of the biz at times.
I bid $140,100 in accordance with your auction rules. You can reach me offline Jonathan as we did over the weekend. Thank you.
