My dealer has been telling me that a GT 2 is a 911 that I won't become bored with and has been hammering me to come by and drive the car, 600 miles for $155k...Originally was $205+k and I found a few brand new cars with a quick search online. What are the pro's vs cons of this car?

ultimate 911 experience. certainly a good deal at that price.
there are some who prefer the NA gt3 or rs but for sheer power it's gotta be the mighty gt2.

no. 15,20k too much. they are following the mirror image path of the 996 GT2.
total powerhourse, total monsters. quite the beast. but they are down from there.
local shop to me has a black one they've let sit outside in the rain for the last 3 months, thats how much they have written it off. 207 sticker. they said somewhere near 150 takes it. that was 6 weeks ago.

nice car. for 25k less, i'd rather have an gt3.1 RS.

I haven't driven the car but apparently, it's a proper monster with rock hard suspension. As in extremely uncomfortable on all but the smoothest of roads/track.

The one that I see often is on PS2 cup --> lethal in rain.

A great car if you have the skill to drive it - but be brutally honest with yourself. For 99% of people, the GT3 will be a much more fun and rewarding experience.

Neat car (just tough to turn when on boost), but as the posters above note - the GT3 is really the one.

I looked and drove them both, then bought & drove a GT3 to my garage.

I have found plenty of GT3's and GT2's out there in my short look but with the demeanor of the sales guy I get the feeling that the GT2's are a tougher sell. I am going to drive them both Wed or Thurs but want to have some good numbers in my mind to put on the table if I decide to bring one home. They are asking $165k but I was told $155k would buy the car.

I driven my friend's on a # of ocassion. It's a monster. As other has said, its a stiff ride. I prefer the non turbo GT3 for less $$$.

Other dealer in town has a 2010 GT3 for $124k, going to look at both tomorrow if weather permits. Is msrp on the GT3 avg or is there wiggle room?
