Oh well, stock for stock, P ftw. Of course at 2x the price it ought to. I guess if you want to go drag racing, you better have a GT2.

I'm not really surprised. The Corvette has always shown it competes next to the 911 Turbo or sometimes, the GT3. The GT2, though, is just a bigger monster. We're talking about a car who just set a Nurburgring record with Walter.

Is it just me or did the guy in the vette miss a couple of shifts? Maybe not used to LHD? Also shifted at 5k a few times.

Either way, I'm sure the GT2 is probably faster though, tires, weight distribution, power etc all working in its advantage in this case.

Nothing against the vette. It's just that the new GT2 really is a monster. Not sure what the hp rating from Porsche is, but that thing is making some ponies. My guess would be that the GT2 might be the fastest car around a track, in production today.

The Scuderia wont be wearing runflat tires , the vette produces near zero downforce (no lift either), and the vette is wearing 3 year old suspension already. The Scuderia would be more aptly compared to the Viper ACR if anything... but not really even that... as its a thinly disguised race car ;)

    Why?

The GT2 has weight on the rears giving it the advantage on traction on a hard launch, it has more torque, and more power... a little more weight, less drag, more downforce over both the front and rear, and has the advantage of stickier tires. Even on paper, its a clear win for the GT2...

It would be more apt to compare it to the new ZR1...

Exactly it shouldn't be racing against a Z06, it should be racing against the ZR1 like everyone else is sayin.

Sheesh. Not sure why everything has to turn into a pissin' match. But yes, when the zr1 and the acr can be tested, it will be a very good comparison indeed.

part of the deal is the condition of the Z06 tested... their numbers were nowhere near where most other auto rag's have tested.

still, the GT2 is superior... but it should be

Why? The GT500 was a pig, and the KR will probably follow the same trait.
I don't know. With the Z06 still quite a few seconds behind the Enzo, I just can't see it running next to the 430 Scuderia when the 430 is pretty much on par with its supercar sister (based on Fiorano times).

It might be a mustang but you can't count it out not with over 550hp you can't just view it as another car on the streets.

    0-100mph at 10+ seconds for a C6 Z06? Yeah, that makes sense.

Probably a beat to **** press car. It's happened before.
