    I know this has already been discussed to a degree but what is everyone's opionion on the upcoming 997 Turbo?

    Worth looking at or has Porsche become too "Blah"? Will this car be a significant improvement over the 996 Turbo --- meaning should one get a 996 and not get hit with the depreciation or will this new Turbo be something special like a Turbo should be?

    The 996 Turbo was and is a great car and a blast to drive. I'm sure that the 997 Turbo will be even better. Most of these cars get leased, so the difference will be very little, and the 997 is the way to go. If your buying, and are concerned with depreciation, get 996 Turbo. You wouldn't be disappointed, except visually, the new one will look better.

    something about the front end i dont like, hopefully the final version will click with me, cuz i really realy want to like this car...

    After looking at the 'spy pics" and that my 996 turbo was finally out of warranty, I modded mine finally to a performance level that a Porsche Turbo should be (500 hP+)

    I don't care for the looks /styling of the 997 Turbo and will stay with mine for a while. Instead, i will get a Porsche "built" to my specs for track use.

    The Cayman and 997 Turbo foglight "look" is fugly.

    Very nice. The GT2 front end treatment adds a great deal of visual enhancement to the 996TT in my opinion. Not to mention the upgrades past the 500HP mark! :)

    It does look very sweet.

    Yeah, I'm getting mixed feelings on this next Turbo. Waiting for the official pictures but from what I've seen so far I'm not "blown away" but then again most things look better in the flesh anyway.

    Put a stock 996 next to a stock 997... Then compare.
