I would too, just as if someone would offer a 288GTO conversion with the right wheelbase and perfectly copied the body panels. Hell, I'll be happy with a 308 with wide fender styled the same as the GTOs.

Wide fenders have been done on 308's. A man I know has a very unique one. Check out this month's Forza.

Well that would be my car you are all so interested in its not a 308 front end its the 288 gto valance from berlinetta there were no changes to the rad and some minor glass work to fit it to the car, if i wouldnt have repaired it in this fashion it wouldnt be on the road i, feild dressed a dear with it . Personally i think the gto front end is much better looking i am not afraid to make changes to a car, i guess you would have heart attacks if you saw the rear valance lol. I am also not interested in resale value what so ever, and for a car to be a work of art it needs to be different than the others, stand out amoung the rest of its kind, dont be haters customize your cars make them works of art because a fuddy dutty meuseum peice is just that i have seen 50 of the same cars plenty of times and no matter what kind of car it is its just 50 of the same like all the others lol Enzo customized all of his own personal cars do you think he worried about resale .......... i dont . It will always be a contraversay between ferrari owners to change the car, or not to change, but the ones that are different always stand out so to all of you that change them and i know a few lol good job !!!!!!!!!!!!!and to all of you that keep them stock good job!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah...IF you have the engine mods to equal the 288's power I'd say why not?. But a 288 look-alike with 3x8 power is too pitiful for me to imagine. ;)

I think Nick forza sells superchargers for 308/328 cars. Power problem solved and there's a website of some guys doing accurate GTO replicas out of 3*8 cars, but that will be really expensive.

I dont want it to be a gto i like the look of the valance beside that you cant get alot of the front end parts for that car without a doner car, take it from someone that knows im sure some of you will learn this or have i just chose to rebuild mine and keep it on the road not part it out and take another ferrari out of the inventory like so many have, i chose to spend the bucks and take the time to save it from being parts for everyone elses cars lol, by the way the front grille is an f150 grille customized to fit ill post some pics for you of the mods here soon lol

Ha. The 328's lack of those toggle switches was one thing I liked.
Most of the 308s I'd seen for sale were missing a couple of the "tums" pills on the top of the toggle switches.
I gather they catch on your jacket sleeve.

In retrospect, those flat rockers aren't perfect either -- a weight in your jacket pocket can drop down and activate one, and the dirt collects in them. But at least you don't destroy them when you use them.
(Like the rest of the car, the more you use it, the better they work.)

As to the difference in the exterior looks: ....
... I'm not outside looking at it, when I'm driving. :D

However; note that the relocated louvres from the fenders to the bonnet is part of the 328's improved cooling.

Heck, if you want "pretty", get a 246GT. :p

Most people can't tell a 328 from a 308 from a QV .... and will call it a "Tester Rosser", half the time, anyway.
It's just a "Ferrari" --- a class of vehicle, all of which cost at least (pinky in mouth) a *million* dollars. ;)

I think Sam's car looks great, I dove that car for almost 18 years, every day. I also had a 308 and hated it, between the heating and the belts coming off it was a nightmare. That car has plenty of miles on it and still has the original clutch and brakes on it. It deserves to live another life as a better looking car. I might change my 575 grill to look like his.
