Looking closely you see the value of the crumple zones. The rear and front of the car are basically gone, but the passenger compartment has maintained its integrity. Of course that doesn't mean that the driver/passenger were not injured ... but you get a sense that thay had a good chance.
My heart is breaking.... With this car's safety engineering, I assume the passengers were fine and had bumps and scratches at the worst. HOWEVER, the 458 is dead and beyond repair. What a loss. I am in mourning.
