Looks like the lower arm on my car at some point had an incident.

I'm wondering if I should try to straighten it, leave it as is... or do I need to replace it?

    Thanks for any insight.

Pretty common. I just straighten them.

Any tips on how to go about straightening them? The side is too narrow for me to really fit a c-clamp in there. I was thinking about heating it and using channel locks, but wasn't sure that was the best idea.

Never use heat. They are not that strong. A crescent wrench is a good place to start.

Na I was able to get most of it out with the previous method with the press. There's still a small curve in there but not enough that I'm concerned with it.

Thanks for these posts. I have a couple of identical ones on my 308 that I assumed were from improper flat bedding many years ago. It’s good to know they are fairly easy to straighten out. Thank you.
