Love the weather in the Keys, miss the twisties though! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
So far, I've added wheels, fender badges and polished rampantes on the front and back! After 5000 mile, no problems. Loving ownership (being caretaker that is!).
I love that pic with your S.O. because it shows how the side strakes complement the taillight strakes and engine lid vents.
I got a second set of calipers and did them in yellow. I went back and forth on red/yellow and IMO yellow is perfect. As someone said the contràst works. Let me know if you'd like some better shots of the wheels. Everything looks perfect in your pic otherwise. 😜 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I know it's not original but I agree, the wheels set it off! As did the polished Rampantes. Don't know why Ferrari thought it was a good idea to subdue it and only install one.
After researching it, I believe I will paint them yellow and highlight the letters in black. not sure whether to do all the raised items or just Ferrari on the calipers. Love to see other pics of your calipers! How did you highlight them? Did you refinish them yourself? After that, don't know any other mods that I want to do to the car. It is a beautiful car, just needed some updating. Most people around here are surprised to hear what year the car is.
Bradan who is a sponsor on here did them for me. Powder coated and clear coated. The black is on the word Ferrari only. I'll dig up some other pics of them. Good time to add SS brake lines as well.
Most of the time. They really don't get in the way though. Around here, there are no corners, no quick shifting, rarely a reason to even pass, because you just catch the next guy in line.
Don't rub it in I only get to drive mine about 8 months of the year (although I shouldn't complain because it could be worse)
Being able to drive all year is a good thing and a bad thing. At least you have the down time to perfect the little things, that's what I used to do in NC. But I'm not complaining for sure.
