    Have always wondered this...when one opens a door of a 430, one gets that wirring noise, what is it and what is its purpose...have noticed same noise on the Maserati Gransport...

    Probably a very silly question but anyway...

    The fuel pump if I remember correctly (or the oil pump) gets the engine ready to be started. The pros will soon give the exact response.
    good question tho.
