Carlo you do GREAT work, did you have all the old suspension parts replaced or did you clean and replate.repaint them all? Either way it looks just perfect...
Hi thanks... but its not me it's everyone on the Bobileff team that does all the work.. the parts are prepped blasted and painted or plated whatever is correct for that piece. The Koni's are all freshly rebuilt as well and the paint is matched and applied to them.
Here we have the suspension almost finished up and the engine finished up and being loaded into the daytona Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That engine and suspension look like it just rolled off the assembly line (probably better) in those pictures... From what this started out as, the before and after comparisons are going to be incredible.
Only because I do not know... the valve covers are now black... is that the way it was originally and somewhere along the line they painted them red because it was popular ??? The black is the way I have seen them so I wonder.....
Black is correct. Also note that the Ferrari script on the valvecovers is painted over - this is correct also. Regards, Art S.
Is it fair to assume that any driver Daytona one might purchase for say $250k will have rust issues underneath a seemingly descent paint job?
Great pics, Carlo. Over 40 years after the fact and that engine still makes you go weak in the knees! Amazing. Onno
Lol.. oh yeah!! and even more after she's complete and the engine has been installed you hear the car start for the first time and what a sound!
Hi Carlo! Long time, no see buddy! I'm gonna have to take a trip down one weekend and hang out like the old days. The Lambo is running flawlessly! I still LOVE the old cars but certainly don't miss the headaches. Talk to ya later!
Hey Jesse, I'm glad to hear you're still enjoying your Lambo!! When you come down let me know. I Hope all is well!
