It is staggering to think that this thread was started with a neglected rust bucket LESS than eight short months ago. Gents, count me as impressed on a number of levels!
another sad car made great again by gary and his crew! i want to now see a bobileff bora, boxer and pantera next! these guys are solid!!! pcb
That looks like hell. Take it apart and do it over. Only kidding of course. Amazing that this is all being done in only 8 months time. Looking fantastic.
Thanks guys for all the nice comments and yes.. honestly what a great looking car and the color combo looks great! the car is available through Bobileff Motorcar please feel free to inquire. You guys did an absolutly great job on this car... Wish I had the funds to buy it at this time its going to be a great buy for whomever gets it...
That is absolutely stunning. It really sets the bar for what my dream Daytona would look like. Superb job!
CarloR, I'm not trying to do thread hijack, but could you tell us about the 400 on the lift in post #174? Thanks.
Very nice attention to detail in the engine compartment with lots of labels on the air cleaner, hood struts etc. Even has the D. BONALDI & C. green and white decal on the brake booster. Those are just the ones shown from the passenger side view; no doubt there are more... A real sharp effort on the small stuff makes a big impression! CH
Jim, No problem.. Grigio Metalizato with tan interior, automatic nice interior, has books, tools and records.. must be sold to out of CA buyers because of no smog equipment and has 48,200 miles. it's good car and drives nice. asking 25k for it. If you want to talk about it feel free to PM me - I can also shoot you over more pics of the car. -Carlo
Most impressive and love the colour combination. The only thing I don't like are the wire wheels, first thing I would change to period superior technology and looks with the 5-star design. I'll never be able to understand why people put old fashioned wires on a Daytona. People don't put wooden spoke wheels on a 250GTO ... Pete
Beautiful car. I remember seeing one in exactly the same colour combination years ago in Lugano. A beautiful car in a beautiful setting.
Pete.. totally agree with this.. as soon as you put the cleaned up polished borrani's on it's lile HOLY CRAP.. what a great looking elegant car with power just waiting to be put to use.
I heard you guys were having a sale to blow out inventory. Is the off-color Daytona with the suboptimal wheels included?
That's an awesome restoration and you can add Me to the Borrani wires fan club, however, I have a question, did they not refit any wiper arms and blades?.
As the song goes" It never rains in Southern California"...the wipers are in the trunk, which is typical for many older Ferrari's in Socal. Gary Bobileff
