OK, did the search with no results although I'm sure this has been covered. Why the hell is the A/C system so damn complex in the 355? I've read through the owner's manual about 5 times and I'm still not clear as to how to turn on/off the A/C system. It seems to me that if the "stop" button is pressed down that the A/C compressor is not on? If the "stop" button is up then the compressor will kick on?? Just seems like a lot of explaining in the manual about switch position when all they had to do was put in a compressor switch and then rely on the dials for heater valve open/closed operation.
Not sure about the 355, but it seems like the ONLY way to FULLY turn off the system in the 348 is to pull the hidden fuse. I've been more than tempted to wire it up to a "kill" switch... one of the un-used buttons next to the fog light button. Just a thought.
