    Can someone assist on following; if you open front bonnet there is a rectangular box which collects air from the air intake grill. inside that box i found a black plastic flap with a metal rod along one side -however i do not see what it does - it must be something to do with either a/c or regular intake but it's not attached to anything its just lying flat- can anyone enlighten me?

    A broken pin on your 348 or 355 recirc flap is common, and it is *easy* to fix. Ricambi America sells a 1 piece "kit" for a permanent repair.
