    Hey All,

How do you turn off the A/C heating plant in the 348?

Sometimes when I start the car it is off (no A/C light or heat light on)- but there is no off button I can find once I activate the plant. Once on it seems to have to be A/C or heat light on. Fan too - can only take to lowest level not off. Manual no help either.

    Thx for any help,

Very easy to turn the whole thing off.

Just hit the button on the lower left that sort of symbolizes air intake from the outside. I think it's below the A/C button. That shuts down either the heat or the A/C (whichever is lit). Essentially, this is the "off" button!

Now that you've hit that button, the air system is off. Now you're free to play with the fan buttons--increase it for pure flow of outside air, or decrease the fan till you have no bars--now airflow is nonexistant.

    Does this help?

Outstanding - that is exactly the information I needed.

To recap to turn the heat and a/c both off just hit the "Switching on of the dynamic external aeration" button (that is what it is described as in my manual).

Then you can just adjust the fan level.
