Looking for input from other F355 owners on their experience with their air conditioning performance. Particularly how much air flow should one expect to feel from the vents. I am still getting accustomed to my new to me F355 GTS and one thing I've noticed is the air pressure from the vents is very weak. With everything on full blast, I have to hold my hand up a few inches from the vent to actually feel anything coming out. I just had the A/C recharged and that helped a little with the air being colder, but the air flow/pressure is still pretty insignificant. The mechanic says it's just how these are and they're not going to be great.

I am coming from the world of air-cooled Porsches, where my 993 and 964 blow ice cold air and quite strongly too. My F355 is nowhere close to the A/C performance of my 993 and 964. When it's in the 90s and humid in Nashville, the A/C doesn't keep the cabin even slightly cool as I was sweating like crazy. Opening the windows was a better option, and that wasn't great (if y'all know southern heat/humidity, you know my pain). And yes, I know it's a GTS but before you start saying "well take off the top and let the open air cool you down," that just isn't a very comfortable solution when it's treacherous out.

I've tried searching for this issue but I am coming up empty on my results. I've read many positive threads that the F355 A/C is good. Is there something that could be causing my air flow to be restricted?

An F-Chatter found a sock stuffed in his demist vent, but I doubt there could be two cases of this.

    Could be a blocked evaporator...

I have heard of the fresh air inlet flapper breaking off and getting somehow stuck in the ducting, but I don't think that would stop fresh air getting in. Check the position of your inlet flapper in the frunk.

Is the air blowing in the right directions? I suppose the air direction actuator might have failed and is blowing the air in the wrong direction?

When was your A/C last serviced. Perhaps it's not the strength of the airflow, but the cooling effect?
