Hello All, Has anyone tried this one from Ebay? how is it? mine is sticky and also has bubbles that is the reason I think this might be a good fit. Is there any other place where I could find it cheaper? Thanks, Francisco http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200365284882&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT
Daniel at Ricambi America sells the same/similar thing and it's known, excellent quality (I got one for my car-no issues). Also $10 cheaper from Daniel.
+1 to Ricambi, fire Daniel a email and you will be set. Plenty of threads here on "how to" and Daniel also includes detailed instructions with the overlay, Great service, great price, great advice, what more could you want
I haven't checked out the auction, but we have them listed here: http://www.ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=100031&products_id=261153 Buy it tonight, and it'll go USPS Priority Mail tomorrow morning on our $5.00 super-saver shipping. It'll arrive in time for installation over the long Thanksgiving weekend, when you're anxious to get out of the house and play with your Ferrari. (in-laws? crazy kids? stressed out spouse in the kitchen?)
Clean the old crap off there good--Down to bare clear plastic before installing the new overlay. Take the knobs off and refinish them while it is apart.... Makes the whole unit look 100X better...
Don't the overlays (i.e., the ones sold by Ricambi) have translucent areas over the numbers for the OEM back-lighting? Master Robbie re-did mine (God, what a job!) and I've only driven my car once at night - didn't even notice. DUH!
