This car is giving me the creeps!!!!!!!!!! Now after solving the fan issue the condensor fan stopped working. Could of course also be the new compressor........do not know yet. Have to get the shields off and check the belt and the tension of the same. Now the question is........I have checked the fuse to the condensor fan.........ok When it comes to the relay......is there is there a similar one somewhere.......interchangable??? What else is there to check? Tonight I am going to do Pap´s cure.........taking the A/C unit out......for the 26th time or so and disconnect all connections........just to make sure it is all ok there. When it comes to the recirc. flap door........it is there ok.........not working......probably because of the broken pin. Haven´t checked yet. However, when I lift the flap door up it can not go all the way up anyway because just where the fan is there is a ring with a flange which the flap door can not pass. Simple enough there is not space enough for the flap door to go all the way up. Is it supposed to go all the way up or does it stop half way???? I have had the fan unit out once and do not want to start all over again. Looking forward to any comment. //B//
As far as I now can understand it is the clutch on the compressor that does not engage. The reason for this I still do not know, but I will check the connector on the compressor as soon as the car is in the air. //B//
