As some of you may have seen in the Arizona thread, I was given the chance by a very nice gentleman named Glenn, who owns the finishing touch detail shop in Fountain Hills, AZ, to spend a couple hours in some of his many cars (he said he owned 13 but I bet that numbers changed since I left 20 minutes ago). Glenn has access to everything from Mazda R360's to De Tomaso Pantera's. It was just amazing to see the kind of passion for what he did. I was given the chance to ride in a ZL1 Camaro, a Pantera, and the Grandaddy of them all...a 1967 Toyota 2000GT.
I learned a fair share about the history of many of the automakers and also learned about his close relationship with some of the rarest most expensive cars in the world and their owners. I'd like to thank Andy Falbo for allowing me to see his impressive workshop full of Ferraris, Fiats, and Maseratis. Glenn was one of those few people that still believe that if you do what you love, you'll never work another day in your life, and I could truly see that. He had no rhythm or rhyme for what he collected but rather did it for pure pleasure. I got a tour of his workshop, "man cave", and his personal garage at home which was more that I was expecting or asking for. I'd like to thank Glenn and any of the other people involved in this day. It was a unforgetable experience.
