That's great, nocturne.... you can thank Brian (jet-x) for that contribution to GT4... does it sound as good in the game as it does in person? :) Btw... you should have been there at the FDC Toys-for-Tots gathering... Claudio REALLY revved it up for everyone to enjoy!!

I'm credited in the back of the manual ;)

And it should identical to the real car - the Spyder was the car used to record the engine sounds. But as Byron pointed out, doesn't beat hearing it in person.

Didn't even know it was in the game 'till today when I stumbled across a post in the GT4 forums. When I get home tonight, I'lll try to find it in the game. Probably won't be able to afford it for a while in the game (just like real life, eh?).

Heard the rev-up at CC last time he was out. The things amazing... Can't wait to hear it in-game as well, but I'm sure it's still not as good as the real thing. But it's my only chance to drive/ride one!

Thanks Jet-X for making it happen! :)

The Spyder was also supposed to be in the game. But it too, like a bunch of other cars had to be cut because of time considerations. The Cizeta was supposed to be in GT3, but some misunderstandings prevented that.

And why no Ferrari? Licensing issues. We were so sure (back in 1999) that we were going to get Ferrari that we recorded a ton of engine sounds at Laguna Seca (TR, 328, 348, 355, F-40, etc).

Those wanting to "drive" some Ferraris will have to wait for Microsoft's "GT4 Killer", Forza Motorsports, which did happen to get the Ferrari License. Car list is at http://cgw.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3137792 - but here's the F-cars in that:

    # 2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello
    # 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena
    # 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO
    # 2003 Enzo Ferrari
    # 1995 Ferrari F50
    # 1993 Ferrari 512 TR
    # 1984 Ferrari GTO
    # 1992 Ferrari F40
    # 1967 Ferrari 330 P4
    # 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT
    # 1998 Ferrari 355 GTS
    # 2005 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti
    # 1996 Ferrari #12 Risi Competizione
    # 1998 Ferrari F355 Challenge
    # 2003 Ferrari #88 Veloqx Prodrive Racing 550 Maranello
    # 2004 Ferrari Challenge Stradale

Hopefully the game won't suck. :)

I've played the demo and it is an extremely difficult game. Although I think the full version will no doubt be great. Xbox live, great tracks, and unbelievable cars.
