I had recently purchased a set of Kenko rings to shoot macro with my 80to200. It worked quite well, if not a bit cumbersome. A set of those plus a 80to200 makes it look like an insane lens. So I fell into a 2.8 105 which does a wonderful job with macro and portraiture.

Here are some samples from over a 24 hour period this past Saturday and Sunday. I was experimenting, playing with the new piece. Then I shot a family wedding.

I love this lens. It is wonderfully sharp and fast. The macro side is rather impressive. I'd love to see anyone else's macro samples as well.

    regards
