I saw my first new Corvette when I was less than 10 years of age. It was parked where my mother shopped. As I walked pass it, I asked my mother, “How do you open the door?” She never looked at the car and told me to get into her car, which I did.

It took me a few years before I found the answer to that question.

The first time I sat in a Corvette was when I was not yet a legal driver. The car belonged to my oldest brother’s friend. At that moment, I fell in love with the Corvette.

After I began to drive, I knew I wanted a Vette. I drove my mother’s slug in high school and only drove 4 cylinder sleds for many years on the Southern California freeways. Finally, as I reach a certain age, I had enough money to get anything. I purchase the ultimate freeway flyer.

My one problem with the new Vette is the air intake to the car. The air for the front brakes, water radiator, and engine itself comes from in one location. Each should have its own intake vent(s). Other then that, it is very sweet.

    Only drive 12 cylinders
